Will the expansion fit into my Kickstarter Edition original game box?

Yes, the expansion cards and hero mat will fit into the box you have, so long as you don’t put the cards in sleeves. If you wish to use sleeves, please consider upgrading your box after the campaign to get the new box and tray that are designed with bigger slots. (You will be offered this option in BackerKit if you pledge at either of the small box pledge levels.)

No, there isn’t room for the new cards and the extra mat in this box. You can either choose to store the new cards separately in the small expansion box, or you could choose to upgrade your box after the campaign to get the new box and tray that are designed with bigger slots. (You will be offered this option in BackerKit if you pledge at either of the small box pledge levels.)

If I want to put my cards in sleeves, what size should I buy?

5-Minute Dungeon cards are 2¼” x 3½” (57 x 89 mm). This size of card is often described as “Standard American Board Game Size” or “Bridge Size”.

Can I get additional copies for my gaming group and save on shipping?

After the campaign, you will have the opportunity when completing your BackerKit survey to buy extra expansion packs at reduced shipping. You may also have the opportunity to add one additional copy of the Big Box, subject to availability based upon our limited run quantity.

No, sorry. We have already added all the countries that we can ship to.

I live in Southwestern Ontario. Will there be a local pick up option, as there was with the last Kickstarter campaign?

Yes, if you live in Ontario we will reach out to you after the campaign to ask if you would like to collect your game in person. If you take advantage of this service, we will refund your shipping amount when you pick up the game.

Will a Print and Play option be available?

No. we do not plan on offering a Print and Play version of the expansion.

If I back at one of the levels that includes the Kickstarter booster, do I get the Baby Barbarian figure included with the last Kickstarter?

No. The Kickstarter booster includes the 25 new cards and 2 extra bosses, but not the figure.

Will the expansion be published in other languages?

There are no definite plans in place yet, but we hope to have a German language edition later in 2019. We do plan on translating the instructions into French and Spanish shortly. Currently there are no other translations planned for the Curses expansion.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
